Fisher-Price began working with the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) last December to help them spread fire safety messages to children around NYC. We produced a special FDNY Billy Blazes Firefighter figure with a portion of the proceeds going to the FDNY. However, following the tragic events of September 11, we decided, along with TRU, that ALL proceeds from the sale of this special Rescue Hero Figure will go to the FDNY. We estimate that by donating all proceeds, more than $500,000.00 will be given directly to the FDNY by Fisher-Price.
