Frequently Asked Questions
If your ESPN Game Center is not working, please check the following:
1. Check Batteries
- Check that the batteries are in the correct orientation
- Replace the batteries with 4 fresh C alkaline batteries.
- Verify that the power switch is in the ON position. The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
- Verify the unit is not in sleep mode, turn the on/off switch to off and then back to on.
The connectors are located below the scoreboard in the back of the product. To check them the follow the below procedure:
- Power the unit down. NOTE The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
- Remove the cover over the connectors (2 screws)
- One at a time, unplug the connector, check the pins (verify none are bent), and plug them back together. Be sure they are pressed together firmly.
- Repeat this procedure with all 5 connectors.
- Replace the cover over the connectors - use caution not to pinch the wires.
- Power the unit up.
Bringing the game is a three step process. You must select a game using yellow game selector switch. Choose between Free Play, Beat-the-Clock, Game Play, or Perfect Game), and then you must select a sport (red push buttons), finally you would need to press the start button. If you are playing a game and it ends, and you would like to play again you only need to press the start button again.
