Frequently Asked Questions

If your ESPN Game Center is not working, please check the following:

1. Check Batteries

  • Check that the batteries are in the correct orientation
  • Replace the batteries with 4 fresh C alkaline batteries.
2. Check that the power is on
  • Verify that the power switch is in the ON position. The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
  • Verify the unit is not in sleep mode, turn the on/off switch to off and then back to on.
3. Check Connectors
The connectors are located below the scoreboard in the back of the product. To check them the follow the below procedure:
  1. Power the unit down. NOTE The on/off switch is located on the back of the game selector.
  2. Remove the cover over the connectors (2 screws)
  3. One at a time, unplug the connector, check the pins (verify none are bent), and plug them back together. Be sure they are pressed together firmly.
  4. Repeat this procedure with all 5 connectors.
  5. Replace the cover over the connectors - use caution not to pinch the wires.
  6. Power the unit up.
4. Press Start
Bringing the game is a three step process. You must select a game using yellow game selector switch. Choose between Free Play, Beat-the-Clock, Game Play, or Perfect Game), and then you must select a sport (red push buttons), finally you would need to press the start button. If you are playing a game and it ends, and you would like to play again you only need to press the start button again.
