Rockers, Swings, and Bouncers should not be used for sleep. In 2022 the ASTM safety warnings for these products were revised to state:
“Stay near and watch baby during use. This product is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use. If baby falls asleep, remove baby as soon as possible and place baby on a firm, flat surface, such as a crib or bassinet.”
Fisher-Price® Baby’s Bouncer gently bounces up and down in response to baby’s natural motions, mimicking the soothing motion of being gently bounced in mom’s arms. And if that’s not enough to soothe baby, a press of a button adds calming vibrations, too! The machine-washable padded fabric seat is soft and comfy for soothing and relaxing, and the toy bar is easy to remove for quiet time. When it’s time to play, three butterfly friends on the toy bar encourage baby to reach and grasp (which helps exercise developing motor skills), bat (which helps encourage development of eye-hand coordination), and play (which is just plain fun)! Two butterflies spin, and the one in the middle “flutters” back and forth!
