As of May 2001, Fisher-Price discontinued further development and production of its entire car seat product line. This decision was made in line with the business objectives of the Corporation. Of course, Fisher-Price will continue to service our Fisher-Price car seat owners who have questions or need assistance.
Fisher-Price is committed to being a significant brand in the juvenile products category. Having exited the car seat business, the re-deployment of resources has allowed Fisher-Price to launch a new line of products called Babygear. This new product line is bringing innovation and superior quality to products such as baby swings, high chairs, bouncy seats, nursery monitors and more. You can see these products at www.fisher-price.com.

If you feel your swing is too fast, please try the following trouble-shooting techniques:
• Try a lower speed setting • If the low setting provides too much swinging motion for the child, try placing one end of a blanket underneath the child and let the other end of the blanket drape down while swinging. • If all of these techniques prove unsuccessful, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® Baby Gear representatives by clicking here.
Remember, the lighter the child is in the swing, the higher the swing can swing and the faster it will seem.

Fisher-Price began working with the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) last December to help them spread fire safety messages to children around NYC. We produced a special FDNY Billy Blazes Firefighter figure with a portion of the proceeds going to the FDNY. However, following the tragic events of September 11, we decided, along with TRU, that ALL proceeds from the sale of this special Rescue Hero Figure will go to the FDNY. We estimate that by donating all proceeds, more than $500,000.00 will be given directly to the FDNY by Fisher-Price.

There are two benefits to registering a Power Wheels vehicle. Fisher-Price will attempt to notify known consumers if the product is possibly affected by a recall. Registering your product may allow us to attempt to reach you at this address should a recall occur involving your product. This notification is limited to that which may be provided according to our records of last known mailing address and subject to mail forwarding limitations imposed by postal service regulations. The registration card also registers your contact information and purchase date in our database for warranty purposes. Your vehicle has a one year warranty from the purchase date on your sales receipt (which we recommend you staple onto your owners manual and keep for future reference). Our Power Wheels registration card gives us the opportunity to record your product information and purchase date accurately, to provide expeditious service.
