Apptivity is currently only compatible with iPad, iPad 2 and the new iPad.  Some Fisher-Price Apptivity items are compatible with iPhone or iPod Touch.  Be sure to check toy packaging to see which devices are compatible for your specific toy.

If your DVD player is not responding to your Read With Me™ controller please try the following:

•  Make sure you have setup Read With Me™ controller correctly. The quick setup sheet can be found at www.service.fisher-price.com and the latest list of codes can be found at www.service.fisher-price.com 
•  Try moving your Read With Me™ controller closer to the TV. 
•  Replace the batteries on your Read With Me™ controller. 
•  Make sure your Read With Me™ controller is pointed directly at your DVD player. 
•  Always be sure your hand and the activity card are not covering the red window on the front of the Read With Me™ controller when pressing a button to respond to an activity. 
•  Make sure there are no large objects between your Read With Me™ controller and your DVD player. Large objects can block the signal between your controller and DVD player. 
•  Double check that the 3-position memory switch on the underside of your Read With Me™ controller is in the proper position. Refer to your Read With Me™ User’s Manual for instructions on how to use the 3-position memory switch.

There is a quick and easy way to verify that your product is JPMA certified. Just click here, and select the type of product you have. If Fisher-Price^® is listed, all of our products in that category are JPMA certified. For example, if you select “High Chair” in the drop-down menu, you’ll see our name. This indicates that our high chairs are JPMA certified.

All products that are JPMA certified have a certification seal right on them. This seal verifies that the product has undergone independent laboratory testing to make sure it meets state, federal, and applicable ASTM standards. Every manufacturer that participates in the JPMA Certification Program is held to the highest standards and must meet or exceed those standards on every product. For us, the JPMA seal symbolizes our commitment to safety and quality.

Please restart the Smart Remote programming process, and retest the controller.  If this method is unsuccessful, please check the latest DVD code list to find the proper code for your DVD player. The latest code listing can be found at www.service.fisher-price.com.  Also, if you do not have your quick setup sheet, you can download it at www.service.fisher-price.com. Please try setting up your Read With Me™ again using this Smart Remote method and quick setup sheet.

Here are some tips that may help you during the quick setup: Make sure you are using fresh alkaline batteries inside your Read With Me™ controller.

• If you have followed the instructions on the quick setup sheet and your Read With Me ™ controller is still not working with your DVD player, try the setup again from the beginning.
•  It is possible that one of the signals did not register when pressed on your DVD player’s remote.
• When pressing the numbers on your DVD remote be sure to wait for the audio prompt to finish and the LED on the Read With Me™ controller turns on.
