In the last few years we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of people interested in collecting Hot Wheels cars. Among collectors, some cars are more popular than others, which can make them more difficult to find. As a manufacturer, Mattel does not operate a complete customer sales department so our products are sold primarily through retail stores. However, please check out www.hotwheelsshop.com for some collectible items being sold there.

A. We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.

Check all the connections to make sure they’re tight. Also make sure the Barbie Girl™ USB connector is popped all the way out of the device. If it is, plug it firmly into the docking station. Then be sure to plug the USB cable firmly into a USB port on your computer. If the device is still not recognized, plug the docking station into a different USB port. Remember…the Barbie Girl™ device software only works on a PC computer. Your Barbie Girl™ is not Mac compatible. Ask a grownup for help if you need it!
