For any issue with the Power Wheels® 12V Quick Charger please follow this Flow Chart.
|
The Power Wheels® 12V Quick Charger will not produce an output until it is plugged into a working Power Wheels® battery. The charger needs to detect a battery before it starts charging, so no voltage will be present when testing it with a volt meter.
|
Battery life will vary depending on how you follow the Charging and Battery Care Instructions. It's also affected by the total number of hours the batteries are used. Average battery life is one to three years.
|
We have a network of over 350 Authorized Service Centers to help you with repairs and replacement parts. These Service Centers have skilled personnel and use only genuine Power Wheels replacement parts to fix your vehicle. Use our Service Center Locator to find a service center near you.
|
Make sure you charge the battery for at least 18 hours (30 hours max) before operating your vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use of the vehicle. *It is necessary to charge the battery immediately after use. It is damaging to the battery when it has been used and then sits without being charged. After a full charge the battery can sit up to two-three months when not in use.

|
Do not place used batteries in your regular trash. Instead, return the battery to a federal or state approved lead-acid battery recycler. This may be a Power Wheels® Authorized Service Center or a local retailer of automotive batteries.
|
Due to the technical nature of Power Wheels® products, some Power Wheels® parts may only be installed by our authorized service centers, therefore we’re unable to provide repair manuals or diagrams. Power Wheels® has independently owned and operated authorized service centers that carry replacement parts, batteries, and chargers in addition to repairing vehicles in or out of warranty. Our Service Center locator will assist you in finding one of our authorized service centers in your area as well as provide you website addresses for service centers that offer on-line shopping.
|
Traction bands have been designed for and are included for use on specific single seat Jeep models to improve traction. The unauthorized use of traction bands on other Power Wheels® vehicles will void the product warranty and may pose both safety and reliability issues including decreased motor and/or gearbox life.
|
If your vehicle was originally equipped with a Green 6v 6amp Power Wheels® battery, a Connector Converter may be used to allow the use of a Red 6V 9.5 amp Power Wheels® battery.
Connector Converters should not be used on any product purchased before October of 1998.
If you have any questions or would like to obtain a Connector Converter, please have your product number with you and contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-432-5437.

The very first time you use Car Maker, you need to insert 2 wax sticks. Car Maker comes pre-loaded with 1 wax stick. The second stick you insert is not meant to fit completely inside the machine – it will protrude through the top. After you have made your very first car, only 1 additional wax stick needs to be inserted every time. Please note that ALL wax sticks must be inserted with the point side down.
|

Once Car Maker instructs you to pull the handle, you must immediately pull it all the way down in one continuous motion until you hear “Complete.” For best results, DO NOT pump handle when pulling it down and complete the injection within 2-3 seconds. If you do not pull it all the way down to complete the injection, Car Maker will keep repeating the phrase, “Please pull down handle.”

You can customize your vehicle in the workshop. Follow the green tool icon to find the workshop hangar.
-
There are multiple types of customizations that you can make:
-
One-shots are one-time game modifiers that you can use to improve your performance, such as nitro bursts that give you faster speed. However, after you use a one-shot, you no longer have it anymore. You would need to unlock another one to use it again.
-
Add-ons are customizations that can be used forever on your vehicle, such as tires or weapons. Once you have unlocked them, they are permanently available for your use.
-
In order to modify your vehicle in the workshop, tap any icon in the circle with your finger and it will take you to the page where you can unlock it, if you have enough credits.
-
You can purchase more credits to unlock specific one-shot or add-on modifications. Once add-ons are purchased, they will always be available to equip your car.
|
-
If you cannot press the handle down, have an adult unplug the machine, wait ten seconds and then plug it back in to reset. Car Maker will automatically go into the cooling cycle. Do not unplug during this time. After you hear “Cooling Complete” and the door opens, try the following:
-
Check the mold for blockage. See CLEANING section in the instruction sheet.
-
Look into the front window on the machine. Ensure that there is a wax stick in the heating chamber and that the wax stick above it is properly aligned.
|
The more you play the game, the more credits you earn. You can redeem credits in the workshop. Your credits are listed in the top right corner of the screen.

First, ensure that the car is specifically meant for the Apptivity Hot Wheels game, and not a regular Hot Wheels car. You will be able to tell whether it is for Apptivity by looking for the contact points on the bottom of the car.
-
Ensure that the contact points are extended rather than retracted. There is a button on the bottom of the car that allows you to switch between traditional Hot Wheels car play (retracted) and Apptivity mode (extended).
-
Check the bottom of the car for debris, and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
-
Wipe your screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure the best conductivity with the car.
-
Make sure you are holding the car in the right location in order for it to be recognized.
-
Hold it in the center and on the sides of the car while the tires are on the screen.
-
Make sure that you are not placing the car on the black or white frame around the iPad screen. You must keep the car only within the screen area.
-
Do not wear gloves or mittens since the car needs to come in contact with your fingertips.

Make sure the pen is fully inserted by pushing it all the way into the slot on the spray gun until you hear/feel it click. Start spraying with the nozzle adjuster pointed all the way toward the negative side (-) and, while holding the trigger down, slowly move the adjuster toward the positive side (+) until you get a nice even spray. If you’re still having issues, please refer to the troubleshooting section below.

In order for the Wild Thing™ to operate correctly, there must be weight in the seat. When your child leans forward in the seat or lifts their bottom off the seat, the seat switch will open and the vehicle will stop. For best results, make sure your little one stays seated at all times with their back against the seat.
