If your music does not appear on the iXL™ handheld device, check the following:
- You may have run out of storage space. Delete some content on the handheld device (using iXL™ Computer Software) or install an SD card (sold separately) to increase the storage space.
- You may not have transferred songs properly. Please be sure you use only iXL™ Computer Software to transfer content to the handheld device. Also, handheld device power must be ON and the handheld device must be open during the transfer process.
- The music file format is not correct. It must be MP3 or WMA format.

Plug in the earbuds. Or, if the earbuds are already in, hold down the play button for 3 seconds. The light will turn on when the device is on.

The Video Journal® camera has a resolution of .3 Megapixels.

· Check the bottom of the figure for debris, and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
· Wipe your screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure the best conductivity with the figure.
· Do not wear gloves or mittens since the figure needs to come in contact with your fingertips.
· Make sure that you are not placing the figure on the frame around the iPad screen. You must keep the figure only within the active screen area.

Insert a CD into your computer. If your computer is connected to the Internet, the software will search for the CD track information. If the CD is found in freedb, the track information will be entered automatically. If it is not found, you will have the option to type in the title and artist/author information. In the Copy From CD tab, select the FP3s® that you would like to copy to My Library. Click the Copy From CD button. When the process is complete, you will find the FP3s® in My Library. You can now assign icons to each of the songs

This could be 1 of 2 things:
You do not have administrator rights on your PC. In order to install any software or content on your PC, you must have administrative rights on your PC. Make sure that you are currently logged on as a user with Administrator rights and then try the update process again.
Your Firewall or security settings are blocking the content from being downloaded. Please check to make sure your firewall and security settings will allow for the download of content, and then try the update process again.

· The action button is at the center of the base. Hold the base with your thumb and middle finger, and hit the action button with your index finger.

If the doll fails to respond or any other malfunction occurs, press the reset switch with a paperclip and try charging the battery.
· Reset switch is located on Barbie doll’s back next to the USB Port.
· To charge the non-replaceable lithium polymer battery, slide up the USB cover on Barbie doll’s back and place Barbie Photo Fashion doll in the doll stand. Connect the USB cable to the doll and the computer. Prior to use, charge for about 2 hours or until the “Fully Charged” icon appears on the Viewfinder.

Check your USB connection. An initial, web-update is required to enable the camera functions. The camera does not have any switches (it is controlled in game) or batteries (it is powered from the USB connection).

If you hear “Error,” ask an adult to unplug Car Maker from the wall, wait ten seconds and then plug it back in to reset. Car Maker may automatically go into the cooling cycle. Do not unplug during this time. If you continue to hear “Error” after multiple resets, this may be an indication of a mechanical problem with the door switch; please contact Consumer Services via service.mattel.com for assistance.

If your vehicle was originally equipped with a Green 6v 6amp Power Wheels® battery, a Connector Converter may be used to allow the use of a Red 6V 9.5 amp Power Wheels® battery.
Connector Converters should not be used on any product purchased before October of 1998.

If the software title does not appear on the handheld device, check the following:
- During the software title installation process, you will be prompted to install iXL™Computer Software before installing the software title. After this installation is complete install the software title.
- You may not have properly installed the software. Uninstall and then reinstall the software title.
- You may have run out of storage space. Delete some content on the handheld device (using iXL™Computer Software) or install an SD card (sold separately) to increase space.
- You may not have transferred the software properly. Please be sure you use only iXL™ Computer Software to transfer content to the handheld device. Also, handheld device power must be on and the handheld device must be open during the transfer process.

You must be logged into an administrative account to use the Video Journal® software. Windows® Vista users should right-click “run as admin” to access the software.

Battery power in the iXL™ handheld device is low. Remove and replace all batteries with four, new "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries.

The cards were switched while the unit was pointed away from the DVD player. Simply pull the card out and reinsert it while pointing the controller at the DVD player.

Fold the wings in half. The purple wings with details (with lines) should face the front. (Clicking noise will be heard to indicate that the wings are properly folded).

When placing wings on doll, turn the doll so that the back of the doll is facing you. Snap the bigger clasp with flower pattern on the top while the smaller clasp snaps to the bottom. (Clicking noise will indicate it is snapped on correctly).

If done correctly, the top clasp will be right next to the flower borders (see Back Wings Image).

If wings are snapped on correctly and the wings do not open, then move arms slightly forward (see “Slightly forward Arm” pictures).
