Rockers, Swings, and Bouncers should not be used for sleep. In 2022 the ASTM safety warnings for these products were revised to state:
“Stay near and watch baby during use. This product is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use. If baby falls asleep, remove baby as soon as possible and place baby on a firm, flat surface, such as a crib or bassinet.”
Soothes babies and entertains them two ways. Gentle, soothing vibrating motion simulates a ride in the car. Toy bar plus gentle, bouncing motion activated by baby's own movements provide entertainment. Toy bar features clip-on activities: shiny mirror, rattle, teething rings, and spinner. Soft fabric restraint holds baby securely in place. Soothing unit runs on one "D" battery. Pad is machine washable and dryer safe.
