This is the internal clutch mechanism which makes a loud clicking noise when the train is overloaded or stuck. Hearing this noise does not mean the Engine is broken. It is OK if the Engine makes this noise.

- Reduce the amount of cargo cars being pulled – try pulling 1 less car until train stays on track
- Load engine onto track at EZ Loader
- If derailment is happening at the top or bottom of ramps try adding a straight piece of track to the top and bottom of the ramp
- Do not have a switch track at bottom OR top of a ramp
