Barbie Girls™ V.I.P. and Device Information

Barbie Girls™ V.I.P.

V.I.P. members enjoy an array of special perks at BarbieGirls.com, such as exclusive games and areas, online pet adoptions, members-only hairstyles and outfits, priority access to the site when it’s busy, and much more. V.I.P. members can also “spend” the B Bucks they earn on fashions and furniture within the Barbie Girls world. Learn more about the benefits of a Barbie Girls V.I.P. membership here.

To purchase a V.I.P. membership, you need both a basic Barbie Girls membership as well as a Parents’ Place account. A V.I.P. membership costs only $5.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes.

Device Registration

If you own a Barbie Girl MP3 player and have never registered it, you can unlock a trial V.I.P. membership when you register your Barbie Girl device through the CD registration process. If you want to continue the V.I.P. membership after it expires, you can ask your parent to renew through Parents’ Place or the Barbie Boutique at MattelShop.com.

To better protect your child’s identity, we do NOT collect additional data to register your Barbie Girls MP3 player. The best way to protect your child’s account is to print out their username and password when they register and take note of the registration code on the bottom of the device. Be sure to keep the printout in a safe place.

Chat

Chatting is not just for V.I.P. members. All members can participate in the safe online chats available on BarbieGirls.com.

  • With B Chat, our most restricted chat, girls select pre-written messages from a dropdown menu that we provide.
  • With Super B Chat, girls type their own messages from a dictionary of safe and appropriate words, and they’re prevented from sharing personal information.


    • Girls need to get parental permission to use Super B Chat, and you can change your daughter’s chat settings at any time in Parents’ Place.
