To clean the ink off of your car, rub it with a damp cloth and start again!

The booster needs to be correctly assembled to its designated wall bracket in order to function. The designated wall bracket has a notch on it. This notch ensures the motor only works when attached to the bracket. All other brackets are flat.
Watch set-up instructions for your track.

You can, but the adhesive should be applied to a clean, smooth, dry surface when the temperature is above 50°F (10°C). If the temperature is below 50°F, you can heat the surface with a hair dryer before application.

No. 3M Command™ strips are intended for mostly smooth surfaces. However, they will stick to painted, smooth cinder block (the type found inside many school buildings).

Yes, for best results, allow the wax to cool for a few minutes before opening the mold. Twist the mold slightly (as you would an ice cube tray) to break the wax free. You can also run the mold under cold water, which will help speed up the cooling process. If the car body is wet, be sure to dry it completely before applying labels. Remove car body from the mold within 10 minutes. If the body is left in the mold for any longer, the wax may begin to crack.

3M Command™ Strips can be used on painted, stained or varnished wood, glass, tile, painted cinder block, plaster, metal, and wallboard.

You need to fine tune the spray nozzle by turning the adjustment nozzle all the way to the negative side (-). Then while holding the trigger down, slowly adjust the nozzle toward the positive side (+) until you get a nice even spray. You should also make sure that the pen is fully inserted by pushing it all the way into the slot on the spray gun until you hear/feel it click.
|
- If you have inserted different colored wax sticks next to each other, you may get some color blending (in which the wax from the two adjacent sticks mix when creating the car body).
|
Push the handle on the far right counterclockwise all the way to the ground and the car platform will tip forward, allowing your car to roll out.
|
After you’ve airbrushed your car, lower the turntable into the drying chamber by turning the handle on the far right counterclockwise toward the ground. Rotate the knob outside the chamber all the way to the rightmost setting to turn the fan on. Air will blow inside the drying chamber and dry off your car!

It is okay to use 3M Command™ strips if the glass is not exposed to direct sunlight or not flooded with water. For example: Do not use inside or outside on south or west windows.

Medium 3M Command Mounting™ Refill Strips can be used to hang the Hot Wheels® Wall Track™ Playsets.

To cover existing paint or color you will need to apply multiple coats. First paint a thin, light coat and let it dry. Then repeat the process until you get the paint coverage you want.

Once Car Maker instructs you to pull the handle, you must immediately pull it all the way down in one continuous motion until you hear “Complete.” For best results, DO NOT pump handle when pulling it down and complete the injection within 2-3 seconds. If you do not pull it all the way down to complete the injection, Car Maker will keep repeating the phrase, “Please pull down handle.”
|
You can combine your pens to get more color combinations. For example, you can get green by applying blue and yellow inks over each other. First apply a thin layer of one color until you get the desired coverage, then switch pens and apply an even layer of your second ink. Try making your own combinations!

Extreme heat conditions and sunlight may cause the adhesive to eventually deteriorate, causing product failure. The adhesive could soften and lose adhesion above 105°F (40°C).

If you cannot press the handle down, have an adult unplug the machine, wait ten seconds and then plug it back in to reset. Car Maker will automatically go into the cooling cycle. Do not unplug during this time. After you hear “Cooling Complete” and the door opens, try the following:
-
Check the mold for blockage. See CLEANING section in the instruction sheet.
-
Look into the front window on the machine. Ensure that there is a wax stick in the heating chamber and that the wax stick above it is properly aligned.

First insert the flexible stencils into the frame with the built-in peg fitting. Connect the frame onto the four posts on top of the car decoration turntable, and then adjust the height of the frame for tall and low cars by using the two detent locations. Remember that in order to spray using stencil, the airbrush must face directly down over the top of the car and spray through the stencil.
|
Simply heat up the base plate with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Then use dental floss to gently cut through the foam to remove the 3M Command™ strip from the surface. Stretch or peel off the remaining adhesive.
