Fold the wings in half. The purple wings with details (with lines) should face the front. (Clicking noise will be heard to indicate that the wings are properly folded).

When placing wings on doll, turn the doll so that the back of the doll is facing you. Snap the bigger clasp with flower pattern on the top while the smaller clasp snaps to the bottom. (Clicking noise will indicate it is snapped on correctly).

If done correctly, the top clasp will be right next to the flower borders (see Back Wings Image).

If wings are snapped on correctly and the wings do not open, then move arms slightly forward (see “Slightly forward Arm” pictures).

Turn off both devices and repeat pairing steps. Reference the instruction sheets provided in the package.

Connect the controller to a powered USB port with the supplied USB cable. Attach the power cable located inside the controller to Barbie™ Star Light Adventure RC Hoverboard. Set the toy to OFF position and controller in “charging” position (left). Charging light should be in red and turns green when it is fully charged.

Fully charged, the Barbie™ Star Light Adventure RC Hoverboard will fly for about 7 minutes.

Before playing with the Star Light Adventure Galaxy Barbie® Doll & Flying Cat, be sure to keep hair pulled back and out of your face to avoid it getting caught in propellers.
If you hair gets caught in the propellers, release the button immediately to turn the toy off. Take the propeller off to see if the hair can be slipped off the rotor or unwound more easily.

Try replacing batteries and make sure there are no cracks in the propellers. If there is a crack in the propeller, do not operate toy. If your cat is still not flying, please contact Mattel Consumer Services.

The joystick directions match the direction that Barbie is facing, rather than the direction that the operator is facing. If Barbie is facing away from you and you move the joystick forward, Barbie will fly away from you. If she is facing towards you and you move the joystick forward, she will move towards you.

The Star Light Adventure Galaxy Barbie® Doll & Hover Cat will fly freely. The maximum distance it will fly is 18.5 inches from the doll. The flying pattern can be affected by elements such as wind or heat.

Turn on hoverboard and place it on a flat surface, and then controller to the ON position. Wait for the beep. Once the green light is on, the controller will stop flashing and the devices are paired.

If you notice a crack in the propellers, do not operate toy. Dispose broken parts properly and contact Mattel Consumer Services for a replacement.

The Barbie™ Star Light Adventure RC Hoverboard will fly about 5 meters or 17 feet from the surface it launches from.

Match the color of propellers to the motor container. Keep the propellers perpendicular to the motor pins. Gently press propellers in until they stop.
