The joystick directions match the direction that Barbie is facing, rather than the direction that the operator is facing. Turn on hoverboard and place it on a flat surface, and then controller to the ON position. Wait for the beep. Once the green light is on, the controller will stop flashing and the devices are paired.

Press Trim button in opposite direction where Barbie™ Star Light Adventure RC Hoverboard moves until it remains still in the air. Press once and wait a few seconds until it is stabilized.
