A. We recommend using alkaline batteries with our products, as they are great for long-term use and help optimize performance. We don't recommend using Carbon-Zinc batteries. While Carbon-Zinc batteries may work well with low-power devices, they can drain after a short period of time and cause certain products to not function properly.

All our baby gear has a product number listed in small print near where the Fisher-Price® or Mattel information is stamped. It can usually be found above the barcode on the packaging and instructions, on the fabric tag, or etched into the product itself.
Our product manuals are available in Adobe® Acrobat® format (PDF). If you don’t have the free viewing software, Adobe® Reader®, this link will take you to their website for assistance.

There is a quick and easy way to verify that your product is JPMA certified. Just click here, and select the type of product you have. If Fisher-Price® is listed, all of our products in that category are JPMA certified. For example, if you select “High Chair” in the drop-down menu, you’ll see our name. This indicates that our high chairs are JPMA certified.
All products that are JPMA certified have a certification seal right on them. This seal verifies that the product has undergone independent laboratory testing to make sure it meets state, federal, and applicable ASTM standards. Every manufacturer that participates in the JPMA Certification Program is held to the highest standards and must meet or exceed those standards on every product. For us, the JPMA seal symbolizes our commitment to safety and quality.

We’re sorry, but we don't have a program that offers parents Fisher-Price® products, Mattel® products, or coupons. Our website has a ton of helpful hints and great information for parents, though!

A: Your baby’s safety has always been our top priority. The seat is designed to hug and support your baby as they sit up and discover the world around them. When your baby is ready to be back in your loving arms, gently pull him or her out of the seat from the back, placing one foot on the base for stability.

The dragonfly toy is supposed to bend or flop over to the side. It is not supposed to stand upright, as pictured on the packaging.
The dragonfly toy is actually made of a softer plastic and flops over to the side to make it easier for the baby to play with and reach!
A design change was made after the photos were taken for this product’s packaging which is why the picture shows it standing straight up in the air.

The rear feet are designed to be loose on all bouncers in order to improve your product’s performance. Please rest assured that your product is safe to use.

If you feel your swing is too fast, please try the following trouble-shooting techniques:
• Try a lower speed setting • If the low setting provides too much swinging motion for the child, try placing one end of a blanket underneath the child and let the other end of the blanket drape down while swinging. • If all of these techniques prove unsuccessful, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® Baby Gear representatives.
Remember, the lighter the child is in the swing, the higher the swing can swing and the faster it will seem.

Analog monitors operate on one of 3 frequencies: 49MHz, 900MHz or 2.4GHz. They can have between 2 and 10 channels to choose from to minimize interference.
Digital monitors operate on one of 2 frequencies: 900MHz or 2.4GHz. They have no channels to choose from because they automatically scan for the clearest channel.
