The battery pack is located on the doll’s back. Remove the skirt and vest, bend the doll’s arms gently if needed. Unscrew the battery cover at the back with a Philips head screwdriver and replace. Be sure to dispose of batteries properly.
The apps are designed for your device to go into the viewer in only one orientation. Rotate your device counter-clockwise to be sure that the top of your phone (the part where the earpiece is) is on the left before putting it into the View-Master® viewer.
The app will not function properly if your device has its orientation lock on. On iOS, swipe up from the bottom of your screen and check that this feature is OFF. Settings may vary for different Android Devices. The Orientation settings can usually be found in the Settings under the Display Settings function.
Check the bottom of the base for debris, and wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
Wipe your screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure the best conductivity with the figure.
Make sure you are holding the figure in the right location in order for it to be recognized.Hold it on the sides of the base where the black indented finger grips are. Do not wear gloves or mittens since the base needs to come in contact with your fingertips.
Make sure that you are not placing the figure on the black or white frame around the iPad screen. You must keep the figure only within the screen area.
The serving tray is the insert that snaps in and out of the main tray. The serving tray is top rack dishwasher safe (or use the bottom rack - without using the drying cycle). The main tray that comes with these models is not dishwasher safe.
