You do not have administrator rights on your PC. In order to install any software or content on your PC, you must have administrative rights on your PC. Make sure that you are currently logged on as a user with Administrator rights and then try the update process again.
Your Firewall or security settings are blocking the content from being downloaded. Please check to make sure your firewall and security settings will allow for the download of content, and then try the update process again.

When updating from the initial CD, the software will auto-check and provide first download. Once this download occurs, you will be asked to register your product using the software account key located on the back of your booklet. The game will then check again for final updates that will provide the most improved version. The device comes with a single registration code for one account. You may use a computer with a trial account in place of a device. The trial accounts are active for 90 days, at which time you will need to register the trial account or create a new trial account with a new name and password. Once the accounts are set up, start the software on the PC with the USB antenna attached. The Registered user can log in using the handheld. The second user can log in using the software. The Camera/Printer busy error appears when there is a communication error between the printer and the computer. To correct this issue:
- Close the software
- Open Control Panel
- Open the Printers & Faxes
- Double-click the Mattel Barbie Doll’D Up Nails Printer
- Delete any nail prints that are in the queue

Yes, one user would use the handheld(s) and the second user could use the software installed on the PC.
Once the software is installed, simply select “Create New User” from the file menu and fill out the form. If you do not have a registration code, you may leave this field blank. This creates a trial account which will be active for 90 days.
If you are using a trial account, you may create a new account near the end of the trial period. The new account name should be shared with your friends, so that they may add your new account to their friends list. The original account will lock after the 90 period and after 6 months the locked account will be deleted.

If you have many Internet-connected computers, you may wish to install the software on each of computer. On the first computer, you will need to create an account by entering the User Name, Password, select the security question and enter an answer plus the registration code. On the second computer, you will need to install the software to log in. On the second computer, you will not need to register.
Once this process is complete, your device will offer options to select any computer within range. If you own only one device, you will need to move the USB antenna to the desired computer.

Please see booklet notes (make sure software is updated for camera function, don't obstruct code, make sure page is in recess on desktop). If code still is not recognized, return to the main menu, remove the booklet for several seconds, and then replace the activity page to try again. If this fails, please exit the game and restart.

Many pens will work with Ucreate games. Pens should have a wide tip (approximately 1/8" wide) and make a consistent line (no dry marks) for best results. Be sure to mark the small boxes on each sheet as indicated. The small boxes help the software make sure your new pens are OK. If there is a problem, the software will display and error message (ex: you pen colors are too similar, try another color).

The product allows up to four device users in a single household. These devices may be installed on a single computer or many computers.
Please remember, the device requires the software, an account, a USB port and an Internet connection on the computer.
Each user needs to create an account and add the other users to their friends list. Remember, once a registration code is used to set up an account, the code cannot be re-used. For this reason we suggest that you write down the account name, password and registration code for each account and store them in a safe place.
Create accounts one by one, entering the User Name, Password, select the security question and enter an answer plus a registration code if any. You will need an active Internet connection to complete this process. Once connected, your account is registered. If you know the names of other accounts, you may add them to your friends list now.
Log off of the account and repeat the process to create addition accounts.
