Check all the connections to make sure they’re tight. Also make sure the Barbie Girl™ USB connector is popped all the way out of the device. If it is, plug it firmly into the docking station. Then be sure to plug the USB cable firmly into a USB port on your computer. If the device is still not recognized, plug the docking station into a different USB port. Remember…the Barbie Girl™ device software only works on a PC computer. Your Barbie Girl™ is not Mac compatible. Ask a grownup for help if you need it!

If you hear “Error,” ask an adult to unplug Car Maker from the wall, wait ten seconds and then plug it back in to reset. Car Maker may automatically go into the cooling cycle. Do not unplug during this time. If you continue to hear “Error” after multiple resets, this may be an indication of a mechanical problem with the door switch; please contact Consumer Services via service.mattel.com for assistance.

• Try a lower speed setting • If the low setting provides too much swinging motion for the child, try placing one end of a blanket underneath the child and let the other end of the blanket drape down while swinging. • If all of these techniques prove unsuccessful, please contact one of our Fisher-Price® Baby Gear representatives.
Remember, the lighter the child is in the swing, the higher the swing can swing and the faster it will seem.

In order to become best friends, you must connect your Barbie Girl™ to each other’s computers and both receive parental approval to use that feature on the site. Download and install the Dora Links Software from www.doralinks.com. Once you've created a username and password, use your Explorer Girls code to unlock a game or activity.

If the update froze or was dropped during download, the file may be corrupt. You will need to delete the download files then start over.
- Open the Install Directory. C:\Program Files\Mattel\DoraLinks\
- Double-click on the DownloadCache folder.
- Delete any .part files.
- Close the folder and restart the software.
- Download all updates.
- Login.

Please note that this product needs two sets of batteries, and there are two separate battery boxes. One battery box operates the swing feature and needs 4 “C” batteries. The other battery box operates the vibration feature and requires 1 “D” battery.

- Close the software
- Open Control Panel
- Open the Printers & Faxes

- Delete any nail prints that are in the queue
